If you are visiting Oak City Cares, please know that our parking lot has a gated entrance. If you need to arrive before or after the gate is open, you can use the speaker button and state your name and reason for visiting Oak City Cares. This will allow you to enter.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening crisis, please call 911.

Do you need a referral to shelter, street outreach or prevention?

Referrals are currently available with no appointment necessary at Oak City Cares, Haven House, The Salvation Army, and St. John’s MCC.

If you are interested in more information about the other Access Sites listed above, please visit: 

Oak City Cares Care Coordinators see guests in the order in which they sign in, with the last person seen each day at 4 pm.

Oak City Cares’ Weekday Services are available on a walk-in basis Monday – Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.

Weekend Meals are available on Saturday and Sunday between 9 am and 6 pm.
