What are “Corner Cards”?
Corner Cards are small, easily-printed cards that can be distributed to those in need, sharing the resources and services available from Oak City Cares. Each card includes our hours, phone number, address, and other important information to help those in need get to our doors.
Many community members keep “blessing bags” in their vehicle with a bottle of water, non-perishable snacks, socks, other easy-to-carry essential items, or perhaps a gift card to an easily-accessible fast food restaurant. Placing Corner Cards in these bags is a great way to easily connect unhoused neighbors to our services.
